The 6th annual Kerry Fashion Week (KFW) Irish Fashion Industry Awards will be held in the Europe Hotel & Resort, Killarney, on Saturday 8th of March 2014. The awards celebrate the very best within the Irish fashion industry from emerging talents to established names within the business.

Entry forms for the KFW Awards are now available to download on line from kerryfashionweek.com. There are a number of new award categories aimed at recognising and celebrating the creativity and success of the wider fashion industry including make-up artists, stylists, photographers and bloggers, as well as fashion designers and milliners. Closing date for entry is 31st January 2014.

Melanie Morris, Editor-in-Chief of Image Publications returns again as Chairperson of the judging panel along with Lisa Brady, Fashion correspondent, the Sunday Business Post. They are joined this year by Ingrid Hoey, one of Ireland’s top Celebrity Stylists. KFW is delighted to announce that Lancome Paris return as the official beauty and make up partner and Sean Taaffe Group as the official hair stylists.

Each year since KFW’s inception, entries to these awards have shown that the standard of talent in the Irish Fashion Industry just keeps getting better.  We look forward to seeing this years entries and are excited to support and showcase the amazing work being produced in Ireland. The 6th annual Kerry Fashion Week will take place from Monday 3rd to Saturday 8th of March 2014. Highlights include a Fashion Photography Exhibition; ‘Love for Fashion” Window Dressing Competition in association with The Kerryman; the Business of Fashion Seminar in association with the Sunday Business Post on Thursday 6th of March and the New Collections Show in association with IMAGE magazine on Friday 7th of March both in the Malton Hotel, Killarney. The prestigious KFW Fashion Industry Awards in association with IMAGE magazine will be held on Saturday 8th of March in The Europe Hotel & Resort, Killarney.

Also new this year is Backstage Banter, a creative afternoon of insider tips, tricks and tips from leading names in the fashion business on Thursday 6th of March from in the Malton Hotel, Killarney. Hosted by Image Magazine, tickets will be on sale from this website and image.ie
