Kerry Fashion Week was officially launched at a reception in the Roast House, Denny Street, Tralee on Monday 3rd of March by Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Mr. Jimmy Deenihan, TD. The evening was also the official opening of the KFW Fashion Photography Exhibition which featured many of the top talents working in the industry today, including Daniel Holfeld, Holly McGlynn, Suzy McCanny, Eilish McCormick, Tiara Rad and three photographers based here in Kerry – Pawel Nowak from Killarney, Barry Murphy from Tralee and Pat Tobin from Listowel.
Guest enjoyed expresso cocktails and were also treated to a sneak peak of some of the new collections which will be showcased over Kerry Fashion Week.
The Fashion Photography exhibition is on in the Roast House all week, before moving to the Europe Hotel & Resort for the Awards on Saturday 8th of March.
Tickets are still available to the KFW New Collections Show in the Malton Hotel this Friday 7th of March from 7pm. Priced at €35, there will be a limited number on the door on the night. Evening includes new collections from top Kerry boutiques and national designer collection launches including Laura Jayne Halton and Caroline Matthews, collections from all KFW award finalists – and the grande finale – the exclusively showing of the new spring Theia Couture Collection by Don O Neill. Every guest will also enjoy a champagne reception, and a complimentary gift from Lancome Paris and Sean Taaffe Group and copy of Image Magazine.
