KFW are delighted to collaborate with Irish Design 2015 in presenting this year’s ‘One to Watch’ award. The winner of this award will present their SS16 collection in a commercial show space for Irish designers at London Fashion Week in September 2015, curated by Irish Design 2015. This prize offers an emerging Irish fashion designer the tremendous opportunity to showcase their collection to both global buyers and the international fashion press, and network with the industry as part of an Irish Design fashion showcase.

“Irish Design 2015 supports Irish fashion by promoting our talented designers at home and abroad, providing new commercial platforms and celebrating their creativity and excellence in design. KFW presents a great opportunity to collaborate with an established Irish industry event and provide the exciting award of a showcase at London Fashion Week for the winning designer.” – Aisling Farinella, Fashion & Textiles Advisor Irish Design 2015

“From the inception of KFW in 2009, we have focused on supporting and giving a platform to emerging talents within the industry. Early in their careers KFW showcased Laura Jayne Halton, Sinead Doyle, Colin Horgan and Natalie B Coleman, all who also won the coveted KFW One to Watch Award. It is very exciting that Irish Design 2015 are sponsoring such a commercially rewarding prize and we wish to thank them for their support.”  – Orla Diffily, Director, KFW

Once again the KFW Irish Fashion Industry Awards will recognise and celebrate the extensive and diverse creativity within the Irish fashion industry. As well as categories for fashion and accessory designers, there are also awards for those that make it all happen behind the scenes . . . including make-up artists, stylists, photographers, bloggers and models.
